Katie Flannery

Katie Flannery graduated with a first-class BA (hons) in Journalism and New Media from the University of Limerick. Following this she has worked as a news reporter for Live95 radio, RTÉ radio and most recently as a researcher on Newstalk radio. During this time she also has been freelancing for the BBC World Service and has made 3 audio documentaries to date. Katie has extensive experience podcasting, which includes co-leading podcast workshops with Athena Media. During her time working for various news organisations, she has acquired an in-depth knowledge of the media landscape. At The Podcast Studios, Katie is in charge of designing and pitching exciting new projects; liaising with current and potential future brands and clients to optimise output for all key stakeholders. Katie is also in charge of managing many large-scale podcast/content projects, ensuring quality output that meets and exceeds the clients’ brief.
